Brain Injury Case Management
and Support Services

ABOUT US

Central Case Management Ltd was started by Alison Wright in April 2009. Alison is a Registered Nurse who has been working with brain injured clients since 1991 and has been a Brain Injury Case Manager since January 2000.

We wanted an opportunity to set up an organisation that was going to provide Brain Injury Case Management and Support Work services to the highest possible standards.

Our team of Brain Injury Case Managers is growing and we have committed to ensuring that members of the Case Management team all have previous experience of working with brain-injured clients, preferably within a rehabilitation setting. In addition, we are determined to ensure that all of our Brain Injury Case Managers are qualified in a relevant profession (Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and other allied health professions) and that those qualifications will be maintained. We ensure that all of our Brain Injury Case Managers are members of BABICM (the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers) and also encourage membership of CMSUK (Case Management Society UK).

The team is supported by our Operations Manager, Vicky Baker. Vicky has previously worked as a Brain Injury Case Manager and is therefore a great source of support, guidance and advice for the team. Vicky's role also incorporates the duties of Registered Manager with regard to our registration with the Care Quality Commission.

We employ teams of Support Workers to work with some of our clients, but are also familiar with supervising and managing staff employed through domiciliary agencies or by clients/their representatives directly. We believe this offers clients the widest choice, in order to meet their particular hublot replica needs in the most appropriate way.

All of our Support Workers are largely trained in-house by our own trainer, Julie West. Julie is a Brain Injury Case Manager and has extended her role with teaching qualifications in addition to her Registered Nurse status. In this way, we are ensuring that all of our Support Workers receive training which is not only consistent across the board and to a high standard, but which is also delivered by somebody who has a thorough understanding of the complexities of supporting brain injured individuals and their families. This training is also delivered as appropriate to Support Workers who are employed by other agencies. This means that you can be confident that entire teams will be consistent in their approach to providing support.
